    Delegate Snuffer moves to amend the committee substitute for Senate Bill 195 on page 1 at line 23 after the date “January 1,” by striking out the date “2014” and inserting in lieu thereof the date “2012".

And

By inserting on page 3 at the end of the Bill the following new section:

    (g) For any election or appointment to the office of Magistrate prior to January 1, 2013, an individual who has filed a pre-candidacy statement for the office of Magistrate pursuant to the provisions of section five-e, article eight of chapter three prior to April 1, 2011 shall be considered to have satisfied the education requirement of subsection (2)(B) above if such individual has a high school education or its equivalent.
